Things I Like Vol. 002

Since this week was all about shopping and sales (which can be overwhelming AF, as well as very exciting) I thought it would be timely to write about all the things I’ve been loving this Black Friday/Cyber Monday season. Personally, I like to do most of the damage in the clothing department and this year—because the weather has really gotten the best of me here in New York—I needed all the wool and cashmere things (or at least something close). Oh, and yes I did make a spread sheet with all of these things on it—thank you very much—and if you didn’t, I’d recommend doing so if you want to reach PEAK psycho-organized.

  1. Wool Coat from Mango: I like to get a few new coats each winter and this was the first new one of the season. It looks very warm and was very much on sale—all of which are wins in my book.

  2. High Rise Mom Jeans from & Other Stories: Who doesn’t love a good mom jean? Personally I can’t wear anything else since I’m now convinced any other cut looks ridiculous on me, so I’m sure I’ll put these to good use. And with an extra 20% off they were quite the steal.

  3. Fuzzy Slippers from Lou & Grey: As I’ve been getting older, I’ve realized I should start investing in my comfy apparel so I’ll be starting off with these crazy soft looking EMU Australia slippers. Sadly they’re not on sale so I haven’t swooped them up YET, mostly because I can’t justify spending $60 on slippers, but I’m keeping my eyes on them.

  4. Satin Blouse from H&M: My closet seems to have an intense lack in blouses so I figure I should probably begin my collection now—and this satin blouse seemed like the perfect place to start.

I did WAY more damage this week but I’ll just save these highlights for now and pretend I didn’t buy 10 other things too. Anyway, be sure to stay tuned for another volume of the Things I’ve Learned, because frankly I’ve very much enjoyed writing them every week!
